Vikings Ticket Prices Lowered!

I have some great news for all of you Vikings fans! Especially those of you that decided to wait to buy your tickets this season. The boss just lowered the prices on our ENTIRE inventory of Vikings Tickets! Since Brett Favre decided to stay retired, ticket prices are back down to normal. That means that now is the perfect time to buy your tickets. They haven't been this low and probably won't be this low again. Remember that if/when the Vikings win a game, prices will be going up again. So grab some cheap Vikings tickets today before they're gone!

10,000 Lakes Festival 2009

This was my third year attending the 10,000 Lakes Festival in Detroit Lakes this past weekend and I must admit that this year was definitely my favorite so far! The festival starts on Wednesday and goes through Sunday, giving festival-goers plenty of time to explore the spacious area and enjoy the beautiful music. Honestly, I wasn't super excited about the lineup at first but once I got there that all changed. We arrived on Wednesday evening and quickly found a spot to camp and set up. Then we headed to the concert bowl to watch Widespread Panic, followed by Pretty Lights. Both were awesome but I definitely enjoyed Pretty Lights more. They played with an amazingly upbeat style and had an awesome light show to go with it. Thursday evening we caught Atmosphere, which is one of my favorite hip-hop groups. This was the second time I've seen them live and they played an awesome show full of energy! Friday night we saw Widespread Panic again, followed by Wookiefoot- both of which were a lot of fun. If you've never heard of them, Wookiefoot is an extraordinary group of people that provide the most amazing stage show full of energy and spontaneous costumes. Not to mention their music is something you can't help but dance to. Saturday was time for Dave Matthews Band, who I've never really gotten into too much but I really enjoyed them live. Dave was full of energy and the crowd went crazy the whole time he played. I can honestly say I'm addicted to the 10,000 Lakes Festival and will be attending it every year that I'm able to! The land is very peaceful and there are so many fun and crazy people running around that it's nearly impossible to get bored there. The weather couldn't have been much better over the weekend. It didn't get too hot and it didn't rain much except for a very brief storm while Atmosphere played. Although it could have been a little warmer at night, I still enjoyed every moment I was there and can't wait until next year!!!!!

Wild vs. Penguins Tickets

Our Minnesota Wild tickets have only been available for less than a week so far and we've already started noticing which games are going to be the popular ones this season. The game on January 11 against the Pittsburgh Penguins has already shown to be a very hot commodity for the upcoming hockey season. Could it be because Sidney Crosby won the 2009 Best NHL Player for the third consecutive year at the annual ESPN awards? Or because he led his team to the Stanley Cup, where they defeated the Detroit Red Wings? Whatever the reason, this game is definitely going to be a hot one. Our ticket prices currently start at just $85 per ticket for upper level seats and $130 per ticket for lower levels.

Also, remember that any of our Minnesota Wild tickets can easily be picked up from our St. Paul office which is located 1 block from the Xcel Energy Center.

Vikings Tickets Coming Soon!

Today we received our first big set of Minnesota Vikings tickets for the 2009-2010 season! That means if you've already ordered Vikings tickets, you will be getting them very very soon. We've started shipping them out today so some of you could receive them as early as today, depending on whether or not you chose to pick them up or have them shipped to you.

For those of you that haven't ordered your tickets yet, I wouldn't recommend waiting too long. If Brett Favre signs to the Vikings, you will see a big increase in ticket prices. As of now, they're priced very reasonably yet still competitive. If he decides not to sign, we will lower the prices.

And remember that any of our tickets can easily be picked up from our Minneapolis office, located less than 2 blocks from the Metrodome. We will also have extended hours during the Vikings games for your convenience!

The Fray Target Center Tickets

The Fray is another group I'm not too familiar with but they seem to be really popular right now. I don't listen to the radio much but for those of you that do, I'll bet you like at least one of their songs! These guys are originally from Denver and have had a top 5 single in various countries around the world. They've only released two albums, with the most recent just released this year. I'm sure that's the reason why The Fray tickets have been selling so fast for the upcoming show next Tuesday, 7/21 at the Target Center. We're actually getting pretty low on tickets, compared to how many we had when they first went on sale. I'm actually thinking this show might be sold out very soon! Our ticket prices start at just $60 per ticket for lower level seats, right by the stage! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet but you want to attend this show, I would definitely recommend buying them now while there are still good seats left!

Rascal Flatts Xcel Energy Center Tickets

Although I'm not into country myself, I do know that Rascal Flatts are one of the biggest names in the country music business. I also know that these guys are coming to the Xcel Energy Center on September 17th to bless their fans with their presence once again! This show will be huge! These guys are very popular with country music fans of all ages.

Tickets haven't gone on sale yet but they do this Saturday so be sure to check back with us to see our great variety of seats at unbeatable prices!

Michael Franti Northrup Auditorium Tickets

I'm actually not too familiar with Michael Franti but after reading about him a bit, I think I would really enjoy his music. He's an American poet, musician and composer as well as being an outspoken supporter for a wide spectrum of peace and social justice issues. His music is mainly a mixture of hip hop, funk, reggae, jazz, folk and jam band styles.

And guess what! He's coming to the Northrup Auditorium (at the U of M) on September 26th at 8pm. We were lucky enough to get some of the best seats in the house and are selling them at very reasonable yet competitive prices! If you have any interest at all in attending the show, I would suggest getting your Michael Franti tickets now before the good ones are gone!

Minnesota Twins Tickets and Tailgating

On Saturday I went to my first ever Minnesota Twins game and had so much fun. The Minnesota Twins played the Chicago White Sox on July 11, 2009 at 6:10 at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN.

My friends and I decided to show up at 2:00 so that we would have plenty of time to tailgate.
We parked on the corner of Washington Avenue South and Chicago Avenue, which is across the street from Ticket King, and a block away from the Metrodome. We played different games, grilled, drank some beers and met tons of different people that were also tailgating.

We finally made it to the game a little after 6 and found our awesome seats. We sat in section 117 row 9 which were right passed 1st base where we could see all the action. My boss at Ticket King let me buy these awesome Minnesota Twins Tickets at face value! The first thing I noticed once we got in the Metrodome was that it isn’t as big as I thought and any seats in the lower level are great seats because no matter where you sit you can see all the action up close.

The Minnesota Twins game was so much fun even though we lost to the Chicago White Sox 8-7. I got the chance to see my first home run, see Justin Morneau up close and personal every inning and got to experience the fun atmosphere inside the Metrodome. It was awesome to see all of the Minnesota Twins fans totally get into the game. I can’t wait until I get a chance to buy Minnesota Twins Tickets again! I just hope my boss will hook me up on the Twins Tickets again!

Vikings Ravens Tickets

Another game that we've been selling like crazy is the Vikings vs. Ravens game on Sunday 10/18. I'm pretty sure that the boss will be raising the prices soon if we keep selling through these Vikings Ravens tickets so quickly. Seriously, we've been flying through seats! Is it possibly because it's the game right after the Viking Packer game? Not sure why this one has been so popular so far but if you're interested in attending this game, I would get tickets now before the prices go up! Prices for upper level seats begin at just $40 for this game, while lower levels start at just $90. These are excellent prices, among the best you will find for Vikings games! Keep in mind that if Brett Favre signs, ALL Vikings ticket prices will increase with the demand for the tickets! It looks like this is going to be a good year!

Vikings 49ers Tickets

The Vikings 49ers game coming up on Sunday 9/27 has been one of our most popular games so far this season, other than the Viking Packer game of course. We have very reasonable yet competitive prices with lower level Vikings 49ers tickets starting at just $90 and upper levels starting at just $25! These prices will not last long, especially with the great selection of seats that we have available.

Also, remember that the ticket prices will be going up if Brett Favre signs with the Vikings!

Twins vs. White Sox Tickets

This week is going to be a busy one. I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend & Independence Day though! I sure did! I spent the weekend in Chicago, admiring the upbeat, urban city for my second time. Of course the weekend went by way too fast but that just gives me a reason to go back, right? Luckily, I came back just in time to see the Chicago White Sox play the Minnesota Twins this weekend! We have some excellent seats left for the games this weekend too. However, if you are interested in going to a Twins game this weekend, I would suggest buying Twins tickets for Sunday's game because that game has the best availability for tickets, as well as the lowest prices.

The New York Yankees are also in town from today until Thursday to play the Twins. We have great seats left for those games as well. You can view our entire inventory from our homepage and remember that any of our tickets can easily be picked up just 2 blocks from the Metrodome in our Minneapolis office. We've also extended our office hours for your convenience! :)

Go Twins!!!
